About Our Troop

Our troop is a proud part of Trail Life USA, a national Christian outdoor adventure program that focuses on character development, leadership, and outdoor skills for boys and young men.

Based at Calvary Chapel East Campus, we provide a dynamic environment where members engage in a wide range of activities from camping and hiking to community service, all designed to foster personal growth, faith, and a deep respect for the great outdoors.

We operate on the core principles of Trail Life USA, emphasizing the importance of virtue, leadership, and character in our daily lives. Our dedicated leaders and supportive parent community work hand-in-hand to offer an enriching experience that prepares our young members to become responsible, God-loving, and service-oriented individuals. Join us in our adventure to navigate the path of life with courage, integrity, and a spirit of exploration.

What We Do

Camping & Outdoors

n our Camping & Outdoors activities, Trailmen immerse themselves in the beauty and challenge of the natural world through regular camping trips, hiking adventures, and outdoor survival skills training. These experiences not only teach practical abilities like fire-building and tent pitching but also instill a deep respect for the environment and the importance of teamwork and self-reliance.

Monthly "Hit The Trail"

Our "Hit The Trail" outings, a cornerstone of our monthly activities, involve pre-planned events that go beyond traditional hiking, including exciting ventures like pinewood derby races, archery competitions, and rocketry projects. These activities are tailored to spark creativity, teach valuable STEM concepts, and build practical skills, all within a fun and supportive environment.

Family Events

Our Family Events are specially curated to involve the entire family, offering a variety of activities that everyone can enjoy together. These gatherings strengthen community ties and provide a wonderful opportunity for families to engage in meaningful experiences, fostering a sense of unity and shared adventure within our Trail Life family.

Exploring Arizona Trails

Our monthly hikes are designed to familiarize Trailmen with various aspects of hiking, accommodating different skill levels from beginners to advanced adventurers. These outings not only enhance physical endurance and navigation skills but also aim to deepen the participants' appreciation for the natural world and the joys of exploring it on foot.
